Your Managed Fleet.
Now Fully Secured.
Tech Assurance already manages your MFP fleet. Now they close the compliance gap you can't see: scan-to-email running plaintext on every device, depositing regulated documents into inboxes with no encryption, no expiration, and no audit trail.

The Gap Your MPS Contract Doesn't Cover
Managed print handles hardware, supplies, and uptime. It doesn't encrypt scan-to-email. Every regulated industry Tech Assurance serves has a rule that requires it, and your MFP fleet is the uncovered endpoint on every audit.

The Four Exposures
Plaintext SMTP in Transit
Every scan leaves the MFP via unencrypted SMTP. HIPAA, GLBA, FERPA, and FTC Safeguards each require encryption in transit. The MFP is the uncovered endpoint on every compliance framework, and no MPS contract addresses it.
Man-in-the-Middle Risk
Plaintext SMTP traverses multiple network hops before reaching the mail server. At any hop, traffic can be intercepted, read, and re-routed without the sender or recipient ever knowing. There is no mechanism in standard scan-to-email to detect or prevent this.
Ghost Copies in Inboxes
Scans arrive as email attachments that sit in inboxes and backups indefinitely. One phished mailbox exposes every scan made in the last five years at once. There is no expiration, no access log, and no way to revoke.
Missing from the Risk Analysis
Auditors typically ID MFPs as unaddressed transmission endpoints. If your MFP fleet isn't listed in the risk analysis, the control doesn't exist, even if your audit report is "clean."
Three Steps.
Five Minutes Per Device.
Your Tech Assurance rep handles installation. They're already on site managing your MFP fleet. No new vendor, no separate onboarding, no IT project.
Encrypt at the device
SecureMFP intercepts the scan before it hits SMTP. Data is encrypted device-to-recipient, never exposed in transit. Works on HP, Xerox, Lexmark, and Brother fleets.
Leave no attachment behind
Recipients access documents through an expiring secure link, not a file attachment. No PDF in the inbox. No ghost copy in backups. Nothing to breach.
Sign the audit trail
Every transmission is logged: who scanned, when, to whom. BAA available for healthcare. Auditors get a clean, timestamped attestation tied to your existing Tech Assurance account.
